Reach was launched in 2007 for HRH The Prince of Wales, to deliver a complicated climate change message globally. Reach is a streaming and video on demand platform for webcasting, streaming live events and online video training. The platform is fully brandable, with surveys, video libraries, profiles, agendas, and much more.
Born from the need to reduce our client's expenditure, travel and environmental impact, Reach makes an event accessible to all by streaming content live from anywhere to anyone. Our mission when creating Reach was to make online attendance of our events as good, if not better, than attending in person.
Reach turns your event, webcast or training program into a stakeholder community, giving your message a home where your communications can grow. The platform is designed for repeat use so is ideally suited for organisations that have multiple events with a dedicated stakeholder following.
With the increasing need for a wider understanding of the effects of global warming, and the positive impact of communication and feedback, we knew we had the perfect platform for the Prince of Wales’ May Day summit.
With REACH, we established a high-definition, live-streaming , interactive interface which allowed stake holders to build an online community, allowing the summit’s message to continue and grow even after the event.

Services
For the LSA we provided an event that illustrated how legal organisations, through pro bono projects and assisting their clients, could become more effectively involved with tackling climate change issues.
Through REACH we provided online viewers with live, high-definition streaming of the event and encouraged practicable feedback though use of surveys and Q&A sessions. By providing links to topical RSS feeds, we were able to maintain an interest for online viewers during breaks in the event.

For the two-day West African Conference on Climate Change, in conjunction with The West Africa Community Development Training Centre, we produced a live stream of the event, which was hosted at the Baobab Hotel in Gambia.
This required ensuring that the venue was not only connected to the Internet at the appropriate levels and setup effectively, but also that the AV feeds for the TV and Radio Stations were accommodated for local news coverage of the event. This was to be the first ever Live video broadcast across the Internet from The Gambia.

The film covered three projects across Europe, each of which dealt with the social factors which determined the health and life expectancy of the communities in which they operated.
Glasgow City Council are undertaking one of Europe’s largest urban regeneration programs, U-Turn in Copenhagen are tackling drug abuse in Christiania and a Mayor in Murska Sobota, Slovenia is mobilising an entire community to exercise together – the film tells each story and the underlying thinking in each.
